Shipping Policy
London Basket ships authentic British groceries from the United Kingdom to customers in the United States.
Where we ship
We deliver to street addresses in the 48 contiguous United States. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, P.O. boxes, or APO/FPO addresses.
How shipping is calculated
Shipping is based on the total weight of your order (all items combined). Your shipping cost is shown at checkout before you pay.

Product pages and your cart show an estimated shipping cost based on item weight. The final shipping charge at checkout is calculated from the combined weight of everything in your order.
Customs and import duties
Product prices include estimated U.S. import duties and taxes. You should not receive additional customs or import charges at delivery for eligible orders shipped to the contiguous United States.
Order processing
Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding U.K. and U.S. public holidays). You will receive a confirmation email when your order is placed and a shipping confirmation with tracking when your parcel leaves our British fulfillment hub.
Delivery times
Most orders arrive within 3–5 business days after dispatch. Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, customs processing, or peak seasons. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier once the parcel has been handed off.
Tracking
All orders ship with tracking. Tracking details are sent to the email address used at checkout.
Damaged or lost parcels
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or does not arrive within a reasonable time after the estimated delivery window, contact us at hello@thelondonbasket.com with your order number and photos of any damage. We will work with you on a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.
Address errors
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If you notice an error immediately after ordering, contact us as soon as possible — we may be able to update the address before dispatch.
Food and perishable items
Many of our products are food items. We pack orders carefully to protect goods in transit. We cannot accept returns of opened or consumed food products for change-of-mind reasons. See our Refund Policy for details on damaged, incorrect, or defective items.
